With a variety of styles and instrumental voices the music tries to trace images and scenes from COLERIDGE’s famous poem and MARCO POLO’s travel reports:In a mystical oriental world, Kubla’s dream of an earthly paradise is soon annihilated by the powers of evil. Paradise remains a vision accessible only if we use our imagination.
During various phases of work on the subject, MIDI-files, scores, illustrated commentary and an Audio CD were produced (1997).
